UPDATE! We have been recieving many letters about the questionable art that has been sold and continues to be sold.
USE CAUTION ON E-BAY! Where I posted news about the forgeries it seems as though all the unscrupolus "art scammers have moved from " florida highwaymen" into a search now of "Florida" where you can find them selling fake art now.
The press continues to do nothing about it, I am sorry I sent these mails but these people and Newspapers DONT CARE.
WRITE THEM LET THEM KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

WE HAVE RECIEVED SO MANY LETTERS WITH CONCERNS YET THERE IS NOTHING MORE THAT I CAN DO THEN TO TRY THIS ONCE AGAIN.
I WANT EVERYONE TO SEE THAT I HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO LET THE PRESS KNOW ABOUT THIS AND THE CASE SURROUNDING THE JIMMY STOVALL INCIDENT.
LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR NOW.
I HAVE KEPT THIS INFORMATION TO MYSELF UNTIL NOW. I WAS TOLD BY JIMMY STOVALL THAT HE WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE GROUP BECAUSE OF MY AFILIATION WIT HIM, AND THAT HE WOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED INTO THE GROUP, AND YET ALL I HAVE DONE WAS TO MAKE FREINDS AND PAINT WITH THE HIGHWAYMEN WHICH YOU WILL SEE IN MY FILM. THIS IS ABOUT MONEY FOLKS, FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL LOOK AT THOSE WHO CONTROL THIS MESS, THEY ARE SO CONVINCING THE PRESS LOOKS THE OTHER WAY.
WELL HERE IS THE LETTER AND THE LIST OF CONTACTS, YOU CAN WRITE THE MANAGING EDITOR YOURSELVES AND ASK THEM WHY THEY TURN A BLIND EYE.
As of today this letter is being sent to all the editors and people who have covered the story of the Highwaymen. The replies and non replies are being posted on the Highwaymen site and Highwaymen blog that is now the fastest growing search on the internet about the Highwaymen.
Check to see if your name is included.
If it is then the public will see that your name and publication has not only NOT DONE ITS JOB but has also contributed to thousands of people being ripped off thousands of dollars.
We will post the hundreds of letters coming in also of people asking
“Where was the press in all of this for 5 years? I have been ripped off and it was even posted on E-Bay about the warnings, why has noone contacted you?
Whats going on? I paid 3500.00 for my Harold Newton and now I need to know if it is worth nothing or not even an original, can you help me? Claire Goldstein.
The Florida Highwaymen became so popular that 3 years ago over 250 paintings a day were being sold on E-Bay some as much as 4000.00 to 10,000.00.
Now there are only 47 as this date. Why? Because of one persons posting that revealed the forgeries and fakes that were being sold on line. The warnings were not taken seriously at first nor was their letters to editors about the news. Instead the press continued to write about the paintings and in essence contributed to the public being ripped off.
Now there is a New film about the Highwaymen which reveals many things about the artist as well as the dealers and those who control the market and money making cash flow of the Highwaymen.
Why would one artist be completely ostracized from the Highwaymen , not by the other artists mind you, but by the experts who decide who will and who will not be included in the group?
Why is an artist called Jimmy Stovall seen in a reunion with Livingston Roberts one of the 5 inducted into the Artist Hall of Fame being recognized by one the known and now famous Highwaymen talking on camera of the old days from 30 years ago, yet being denied his name attached to the Highwaymen?
Is there something going on with forgeries and fakes that only one person knows about that has gone where no other person has gone and found out vital information that the press themselves wont investigate?
Why doesn’t the press even look at the footage that has been available now for 6 years?
Is it because it is safer to keep a well knit story the way it is told and not ruffle the feathers and not exspose those who are making money and selling bogus paintings that nobody else has the credibility to authenticate?
1 Year ago Yeager kept a record of every News paper and press contact that he has sent this information to, it was never considered or looked at or a phone call returned, now Yeager will begin on his blog the posting of these e-mails and letters to the press so the public is able to see for themselves the irresponsibility of the press, and also watch the video trailer of Yeagers startling evidence of many topics that may have many wondering
Why doesn’t the press or anyone look at a story where 26 artists’, have painted, where anyone can make a forgery, who is there to protect the buyers?
Yeagers E-Bay posting in essence cleaned house, the scammers and thieves took off running from 250 paintings being sold on E –bay to 47 now thanks to someone who has never made a dime on the story of the Highwaymen, only to be discarded by the experts, the press, so that the public can be continued to be lied to, and one man Jimmy Stovall is not allowed to make a living or be included into the group because Yeagers new film shows that the expert’s and scammers are only in this for the money.

A Very rare Livingston Roberts painting known as The Freddie paintings was discovered in an un-known location in North Miami found through a description given to filmmaker Billy Yeager is his New Film " The Highwaymen" The other side of the road". In the film Livingston shows Yeager a map and explains where many of the lost Freddie paintings could be. The painting that was found is to be auctioned at Christys Auction in New York City and all proceeds will go to the Make a wish foundation.

I'm 27, my grandmother has 3 highwayman paintings from the late 50's or 60's that were hanging in grandma and grandpa's "Tally-Ho" Restaurant in Satellite Beach,FL. All 3 are very large in size. I have 1 Black and white with no artist name, my mom has the other 2 by Mary Ann Carrol, and Sam Newton. My question is have you ever seen a black and white highway man painting?
